apprenticeships logoThe Trust hosts a wide-ranging apprenticeship scheme which is delivered by the Learning and Development Team.

An apprenticeship is a structured programme of learning and work-based training. Candidates learn new skills on the job under the supervision of qualified and experienced staff whilst getting paid a salary.

Through apprenticeships we aim to give colleagues the opportunity to:

  • learn and further develop practical job skills and knowledge which are related to specific work roles within Gloucestershire Care Services
  • achieve work-based qualifications and standardsprogress onto specific careers pathways
  • develop skills that are designed by employers
