6.00pm - 8.30pm

If you need to visit at a different time, please speak to the ward manager prior to your visit and they will help make suitable arrangements.

Inpatients: additional information

Patients who are recovering will be encouraged to dress in their own clothes and we ask that suitable clothing is brought in.  Please consider your relatives ability to dress with ease, items such asr jogging bottoms or skirts with elasticated waistbands may help.

Storage space for personal property is limited, so it is helpful if this is kept to a minimum. We discourage any items of value to be kept on the ward. We are unable to wash patients clothing and will leave this for relatives to take home. Anything that is soiled will be clearly labelled.

We know that family and friends may want to bring in treats for patients. Please be aware we do not have the ability to store patients’ own food, so please speak to a member of staff before bringing items which need chilling.

Religious and spiritual needs

To meet your needs please tell the ward staff about any religious or spiritual requirements. You are welcome to to inform your own siritual or religious leader who can visit you in hospital. You may also wish to inform your own religious or spiritual leader that you are coming into hospital.

Therapists at the Hospital

There are Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams based at the Hospital working with inpatients and outpatients. This service is available Monday to Friday.

Volunteers

We have a number of volunteers who help the ward staff and patients and weolcome new volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a hospital volunteer please follow this link on volunteering with the Trust.
