Therapy teams supported by Gloucestershire Care Arthritis TrustA generous donation by Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust will see a range of new equipment being used by patients attending therapy treatment at North Cotswolds Hospital and the George Moore Community Clinic.

Rosie McEwan, Physiotherapy team lead, attended a fund-raising coffee morning recently hosted by Mollie King to receive a cheque for £2,514 on behalf of Gloucestershire Care Services.

Thanking the Arthritis Trust for their donation, Rosie said: “We are thrilled to have these resources in an economic climate that means we can often miss out on very useful equipment and have shown to be beneficial in the delivery of care and help in the rehabilitation of patients.  The equipment we hope to buy includes an exercise bike, hand weights, cross trainer, TENS machine, supports, resistance band and aerobic step.  The fundraising you do is invaluable, and we are so pleased to be the ones on the receiving end.”
