tewkesbury hospitalThe doors of the new Tewkesbury Community Hospital will be thrown open for an  Open Day on Wednesday 31 July, which will give local people the chance to take a short guided tour of the new facilities, meet some of the artists behind the new pieces of artwork and chat to staff and volunteers.

The opening will be from 3.00pm-7.00pm and all members of the local community are welcome to come along and join a tour of the facilities.  There is no need to book ahead, but there may be a short wait on the day during busy periods when groups are being shown around. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

The new hospital facilities will include 20 inpatient beds, x-ray, a minor injuries unit, facilities for outpatients clinic as now, theatre with recovery suite for day case and minor surgical procedures, and an assessment and rehabilitation unit.

Please not there will be no parking available on site for the open day. Pedestrian access via Howells Road and Orchard Court.
